To Be Honest…

It’s been a while since I wrote something. Why? Been busy and moreover lazy. But I’ve been sketching on & off and posting stuff on Instagram. So to be honest, I just chose not to write for a while. For me that’s ok. As long as I’m expressing myself in someway productive.

I haven’t been networking much. Why? Am I that busy? Yes & No! But I also find networking sites to be redundant, almost irrelevant lately. But we’re all stuck at home. There’s no way for us to meet people socially, in person. So I’m stuck filtering out content that’s none of my concern, more than searching for the one’s that are.

Hint to the one’s managing these complex sicial media platforms: please do something about the content that’s out there!

I’ve been trying to re-write our brand story but fall short and feel handicapped as we’re not the masters of the craft — writing. Good writing can make one’s story even more compelling and memorable. Good words, in addition to good work, attract good opportunities. Do you think I haven’t tried? Of course I have! And I will try again and again, till the time I’m convinced that I am attracted to our own story.

So what’s the hurry, you ask? Every second every day is crucial. A day lost is an opportunity lost too. So I look for inspiration. I sit through inspiring podcasts and discussions and ask questions and try to participate actively by asking relevant questions. After all that’s how you get answers!

Well are there good or bad questions? According to some, there aren’t. As long as it’s relevant to the discussion, and has answers that everyone can benefit from. So I ask questions, no matter how experienced I may be. There’s always something to learn from every single person. Not just in terms of what to do but equally importantly, what not to do.

I know I’m just speaking my mind today. But that’s exactly what I wanted to do. And just break the cycle of ‘let me do so tomorrow’. And I say to myself, it’s ok. You will! So here goes my writing spree again and I’m hoping it’s a little more frequent this time ☺

Cheers!
